Update and next steps

Eden is still in Children's, and will be here until the doctors can get her to gain weight. She has an ng tube, but she can't take much food at a time, so it's trial and error to get her to keep enough food down to gain weight. And we think she caught a cold and a stomach virus here. This afternoon she ate mashed potatoes and kept both of her feedings down. Please pray that continues.

She is ready to go home, keeps asking for her Nana and her puppy, but is such a happy girl!! She has been loving therapy here, and lets most of our visitors hold her, so I have gotten a shower and have eaten all meals every day. We are both sooooooo tired, though!!! Thankfully they gave us a private room tonight.

We will know by the end of the week what the test results are. If they are positive, we head to Duke. They will decide if she is a good candidate for a cord blood transplant. If she isn't, there's nothing else medically to do. Please pray she will eat and get stronger this week.
