I think I have convinced them I can take care of her at home, even if she keeps throwing up. But we finally convinced them that she needs a neurology consult before going home b/c she is most likely having seizures. She seemed to be having absence seizures when we came in, but now her arms and legs are starting to be involved. Why it has taken almost 4 weeks to be seen I don't know. We are sooooooo ready to be home!!
Eden did well in surgery, but couldn't sleep at all after it b/c the pain meds made her crazy. She has slept very well the last 2 nights, even without medicine.
We hope to go home tomorrow, but that means neurology has to make it up here today and do an EEG before the day is over.
Eden is still smiling through the pain and throwing up. She is such a precious baby girl!

I am a stranger, living in Utah, that somehow found your blog. I have been so touched by your story and your daughter's sweet little strength and giggle. I have no idea what you are going through, but I do know what it is like to have a sick chld in the hospital for a long time, waiting for surgeries, tests, and results. My heart breaks for both of you and you're both in my prayers.
