Maybe Tomorrow

When I brought Eden down for surgery, I overheard the anesthesiologist discussing her sedation. She had decided to use a different method of sedation, and wasn't going to tell me. So, we had quite the discussion, ending in Eden not getting her tube changed--my decision. They may do the surgery tomorrow or Friday, AFTER they tell me what method of sedation they will use and explain it to me well.

I know they think I'm crazy, but after being told my baby is going to die, and spending 7 weeks in the hospital, I definitely have the right to be a little crazy. And even though we are in an amazing hospital, there have been a few times Eden would most likely have died if I weren't advocating for her. So I'll just keep being crazy! :)

  1. Be crazy! We have to advocate for our little ones. I have a TON more trust for doctors and such that are straight forward. You did the right thing being the champion for your daughter. We continue to pray!

  2. EVERY child needs the irrational protection of a mother! Thank God Eden has you!
